We went on Saturday before Father's Day. Three orders of soup dumplings are very good. The string beans are great too. Shanghai fried dumplings were good. Szechuan spicy fish is not fragrant enough and the fish is covered with too much flour. Pork ribs was just ok.

I am a big fan of Asian foods. I eat them often at restaurants and I cook Szechuan and Thai frequently at home, obtaining authentic and fresh ingredients at Asian markets. This is a very nice restaurant. The ambiance is airy and clean, the staff are very friendly and the food is very good. The dumplings are excellent, especially the soup dumplings and the kung pao chicken was well-prepared although not as spicy as I expected. All in all, four of us had a very good meal in a very comfortable restaurant. My only real criticism is the salt and pepper squid is not even remotely close to what this traditional Szechuan dish should be. What is being offered as salt and pepper squid is just plain, and not particularly good, fried calamari. Salt and pepper squid, which I have prepared often and ordered frequently in restaurants that offer it, should have an abundance of Szechuan pepper and a fair amount of salt in an otherwise thin coating of corn starch. It should be crispy and very spicy. This dish was neither. It was edible but disappointing. I plan to return next month to try some other interesting dishes on the menu but I'll pass on the salt and pepper squid. Everything else we tried was very good so I'm pretty sure I'll find some tasty dishes. I definitely will order the soup dumplings again. They were delicious.

Solid on the steamed dumplings front -steamed and fries , chicken, steamed pork soup and vegetable dumpling steamed. I am very amused by the vibe at bar and in the place but do mostly take out. Try it you'll like it...

I feel good when I finish a meal here, very healthful and delicious. That means a ton! It is our go-to spot for great options, and a restaurant that focuses on Asian cusine vs combining hibachi, sushi, and normal fare. They are a unique find!
